Summary of event/incident A referral had come through from a school nurse for a child who was apparently experiencing dental issues. Mum felt that the grandparents were taking over parenting in a way which she felt was not in the child’s best interests. According to the mother, the grandparents’ controlling behaviour had hindered the mother’s relationship with her child. Consequently, the child was now disobedient and would not take any notice of what mum said, whilst the child was always wanting to stay with the grandparents rather than be around the mother. The mother now felt that she did not have any sort of attachment with her child and, although she will cuddle the child when upset, mum wonders why she has done it. In contrast, mum has told me that she believes that she has a good bond with her baby. I, however, was doubtful of mum’s understanding of how to ensure the correct ‘attachment’ as I had not observed mum interact in any way with the baby, although I had seen mum tend to some of baby’s immediate needs. As a result, baby looked well cared for; clean, responsive and alert which suggested that the majority of her physical needs were being provided for. My worries, however, were with baby’s psycho-emotional needs as I had not witnessed the baby stimulated in any way by mother. On single-punch machines, the mixture is fed into one tablet mold known as dye cavity by a feed shoe, as follows: The feed shoe passes over the dye cavity and releases the mixture. The feed shoe then retracts and scrapes all excess mixture away from the dye cavity. A punch of the size of the dye cavity descends into the dye, compressing the mixture into a tablet. The punch then retracts, while a punch below the dye cavity rises into the cavity and ejects the tablet. The feed shoe returns to fill the dye cavity again, it pushes the compressed tablet from the dye platform. 6. Coating: Tablets may be coated to reduce swallow difficulties or target specific part of the body where the coating will dissolve and take effect. Coating is done by adding desired coating solution to the drum along with the tablets. Blowers are used to rapidly dry the coated tablets and prevent sticking. 7. Testing: The compressed tablets are subjected to a tablet hardness and friability test, as well as a tablet disintegration test. 8. For the past few decades the term â€Å"baby-boomers† has never left the headlines. There are many reasons why this generation of Americans always attract the spotlight. First of all this generation comprises a significant chunk of the U. S. population. Furthermore, children born to this group were the ones who grew up and became involved in the cultural-changing events of the 1960s. This is the same generation that provided volunteers and soldiers to the infamous Vietnam War.In order to fully appreciate the impact of this generation to current history it must be noted that former president Bill Clinton as well as incumbent president George W. Bush belong to this demographic. In recent times the baby-boomers are again in the glare of publicity because this segment of the population is threatening to negatively impact the U. It’ll Cost You.† In this report O’Neil discussed that baby-boomers ar e not stupid and that they work hard during their youth and pre-retirement years to save enough money so that they can afford not to work and yet lead quality lives. But O’Neil cautions that for those who will opt out of the work force before the age of 65, there is one more thing left to do and it is to set aside $100,000 or more to cover health insurance until they qualify for Medicare. Suddenly retirement is not as fun as one would think, especially for those who did not do their homework when it comes to long-term care insurance.There are just so many things that Medicare will not cover. Rick Lyman’s article significantly differs from the three already mentioned. His piece is the silver lining behind the clouds. Figures vary but it is estimated that there are at least 72 million boomers living in this country. This demograp hic can easily command the attention of various businesses but in the past few years it has gripped the attention of health care experts who are predicting a crisis if some issue will not be resolved soon.
